Sterling Heights is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sterling Heights follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. A surprise find! We found this restaurant completely by accident, and it turned out to be one of the best discoveries we've made! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with friendly, attentive service by the owner, that made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and has that cozy, family-style feel that's hard to find these days. The food was absolutely outstandingβ€”fresh, flavorful, and incredibly authentic (the owner made surevtge credit went to his wife 😁 ) . Every dish was prepared with obvious care, and you can really tell they take pride in what they serve. Even though it's about an hour drive each way for us, we'll gladly make the trip again. Great food, wonderful host, and a comfortable atmosphere make this place well worth the drive. We're already looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, memorable dining experience! Five stars all the way!

We stumbled upon this spot randomly and had lunch. We are so glad we did! My husband’s beef shawarma was tasty and juicy ( it can tend to be dry). I had a β€œnew to me” breakfast dish. It was amazing! So fresh and zesty and the portion was generous, so I took half home. It’s a small place with maybe a dozen tables with simple decor and some cute Syrian displays of trinkets. We will definitely visit again!

I’ve been here multiple times and Patternz never misses. Hands down the best falafel I have ever had. They are actually moist on the inside, not dry like most places. The shawarma is also fantastic and perfectly juicy. On top of the food being incredible, the owners are genuinely the nicest people. Love supporting this spot!

Pattternz is such a unique dining experience. It's a Syrian restaurant, so even though some of the dishes sound like what you might find at your typical Sterling Heights Middle Eastern restaurant, the flavors here are different and absolutely worth a try. For example, the garlic is generally dialed down in comparison and other spices are added, giving really distinct flavors that you can't find anywhere else. My wife and I come here just about every week because it's so addictive. In addition, you'll find a lot of dishes that you can't find anywhere else. For appetizers, we're addicted to Mutabel, which is an eggplant dip sort of similar to baba ghanoush, and it's so good that we can never pass it up. Their lentil soup is absolutely delicious and again tastes different than any other lentil soup I've had. It has a very rich broth, possibly flavored with some lamb and is just super tasty. We love their dinner plates which come with very flavorful rice (or fries) and a small salad and usually some hummous. Everything we've tried here tastes like it's made with love and care, sort of like a homemade meal made by your favorite grandma. At the same time, it's very elevated and sophisti

Last night I was hungry but I needed something fulfilling and affordable. When I remembered this spot I thought about how good it was the first time I had it. I got the Chicken Shawarma Salad & the Kunafah Bun. The salad and chicken is so flavorful, which reflects the exact feeling I had my first visit. I’m not typically one for salads, but honestly this place is like magic to me. I’ve always wanted to try a Kunafah Bun and this definitely hit the spot, I can only imagine how good one is fresh and right off the heat. All for a little over $20 is absolutely worth it! This location being so close by is a blessing, and the food it has supplied me with is even more so a blessing. Thank you Pattternz! ❀️
